  • What is a mailto link and what is it used for?

    A mailto link allows users to automatically open their default email client (such as Outlook, Gmail, or Apple Mail) with a new message already prepared, simply by clicking on the link. You can define the destination address, subject, message body, and even include recipients in copy (CC) or blind carbon copy (BCC).

  • You can configure the following fields:

    • To address
    • Subject
    • Body of the message
    • Addresses in CC (with copy)
    • Addresses in BCC (blind carbon copy)
