That&#8217;s why we&#8217;re going to give you some <strong>graphic design tricks for non-designers<\/strong>. So make sure to <strong>incorporate these colors into your designs<\/strong>. This will make it easier for your audience to identify you more easily and quickly.<\/p><!-- wp: -->\n\n<!-- \/wp: --><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">If you don&#8217;t have a palette yet, create one<\/h2><!-- wp: -->\n\n<!-- \/wp: --><p>Although, as I mentioned, it&#8217;s normal to already have your corporate color palette defined, it might not be the case. Therefore, it&#8217;s important to create it before moving forward.<\/p><!-- wp: -->\n\n<!-- \/wp: --><p>Focus on choosing <strong>colors that represent you<\/strong>, as well as colors that work well together without creating dissonance. <a href=\"https:\/\/color.adobe.com\/es\/create\/color-wheel\">Adobe Color<\/a> is a great tool for creating palettes, as you can easily apply different <strong>color harmony rules<\/strong> (analogous, monochromatic, triad, complementary&#8230;) and freely adjust the colors independently.<\/p><!-- wp: -->\n\n<!-- \/wp: -->\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-style-default\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"479\" src=\"https:\/\/acumbamail.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/adobe-color-1024x479.jpg\" alt=\"Adobe colors\" class=\"wp-image-20850\" srcset=\"https:\/\/acumbamail.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/adobe-color-1024x479.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/acumbamail.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/adobe-color-300x140.jpg 300w, https:\/\/acumbamail.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/adobe-color-150x70.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n<!-- wp: -->\n\n<!-- \/wp: --><p>Other tools that can also be useful are: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.colourlovers.com\/\">COLOURlovers<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/coolors.co\/\">Coolors<\/a>, or <a href=\"http:\/\/colormind.io\/\">Colormind<\/a>. <strong>Don&#8217;t go crazy<\/strong> choosing too many colors, or you&#8217;ll end up with a chaotic result and too much visual noise that will overstimulate your audience. <em>You can<\/em> have an extensive color palette, but having it doesn&#8217;t mean you always have to use all the colors at once.<\/p><!-- wp: -->\n\n<!-- \/wp: --><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Consider the Psychology of Colors<\/h2><!-- wp: -->\n\n<!-- \/wp: --><p>When creating the color palette, it&#8217;s important that they reflect the <strong>tone of your brand<\/strong>. Since it&#8217;s the color of <strong>trust and security<\/strong>, it&#8217;s no surprise that financial brands like PayPal or Visa use it as their primary color. Think about what you want your brand&#8217;s colors to convey to your customers. You can use color psychology in everything from your brand&#8217;s logo to your website design.<\/p><!-- wp: -->\n\n<!-- \/wp: --><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Don&#8217;t Underestimate the Power of Typography<\/h2><!-- wp: -->\n\n<!-- \/wp: --><p><strong>Typography can be very powerful: it can<\/strong> set a tone and tell a story. No. Think about the context when selecting a font.<\/p><!-- wp: -->\n\n<!-- \/wp: --><p>If you have <strong>corporate fonts<\/strong>, don&#8217;t forget to use them whenever possible, and I also recommend choosing a font from the <strong>web safe<\/strong> list to have as an <strong>alternative<\/strong> when you can only use fonts from this list.<\/p><!-- wp: -->\n\n<!-- \/wp: --><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Limit the Number of Fonts<\/h2><!-- wp: -->\n\n<!-- \/wp: --><p>As I mentioned in the last paragraph, fonts have a lot of power, but that doesn&#8217;t mean we should <strong>abuse<\/strong> them in our designs. Using too many fonts, or worse, ones that are hard to read, will cause <strong>confusion<\/strong> for your audience. Try to limit yourself to two <strong>fonts that pair well<\/strong> and match the message you want to convey.<\/p><!-- wp: -->\n\n<!-- \/wp: -->\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-style-default\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"503\" src=\"https:\/\/acumbamail.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/Tipografi\u0301as-1024x503.jpg\" alt=\"Typography examples\" class=\"wp-image-20853\" srcset=\"https:\/\/acumbamail.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/Tipografi\u0301as-1024x503.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/acumbamail.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/Tipografi\u0301as-300x147.jpg 300w, https:\/\/acumbamail.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/Tipografi\u0301as-150x74.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><figcaption>Tipograf\u00edas de google fonts<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<!-- wp: -->\n\n<!-- \/wp: --><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Mind the Alignment<\/h2><!-- wp: -->\n\n<!-- \/wp: --><p>What&#8217;s another thing that separates professional-looking designs from amateur ones? <strong>Alignment<\/strong>.<\/p><!-- wp: -->\n\n<!-- \/wp: --><p>When aligning elements in your design, <strong>never do it by eye<\/strong>.<\/p><!-- wp: -->\n\n<!-- \/wp: --><p>Most design programs have <strong>guides<\/strong>, <strong>grids<\/strong>, and even <strong>alignment tools<\/strong> available that will let you know if your elements are well-aligned.<\/p><!-- wp: -->\n\n<!-- \/wp: --><div class=\"wp-block-image is-style-default\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"685\" src=\"https:\/\/acumbamail.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/alineacion-1024x685.jpg\" alt=\"Correct alignment\" class=\"wp-image-20859\" srcset=\"https:\/\/acumbamail.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/alineacion-1024x685.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/acumbamail.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/alineacion-300x201.jpg 300w, https:\/\/acumbamail.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/alineacion-150x100.jpg 150w, https:\/\/acumbamail.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/alineacion.jpg 1988w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div><!-- wp: -->\n\n<!-- \/wp: --><p>But <strong>be careful<\/strong>, because sometimes even if you have all the elements mathematically aligned, it might seem like they aren&#8217;t. This is where the <strong>eye of an expert designer<\/strong> comes in, who can determine the position of the elements according to their <strong>visual weight<\/strong> and not their dimensions.<\/p><!-- wp: -->\n\n<!-- \/wp: --><p>Don&#8217;t obsess over aligning all texts and images to the center. You can mix different alignments to add uniqueness. Just make sure the alignment is consistent and doesn&#8217;t detract from your message.<\/p><!-- wp: -->\n\n<!-- \/wp: --><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Don&#8217;t Use Pure Black<\/h2><!-- wp: -->\n\n<!-- \/wp: --><p>Black offers us unmatched contrast but can be too harsh on the eyes. It simply doesn&#8217;t feel natural. And why is this? Well, because pure black <strong>doesn&#8217;t occur naturally<\/strong>, even if you think it does.<\/p><!-- wp: -->\n\n<!-- \/wp: --><p>Instead, try using shades of <strong>dark gray<\/strong> (like #1b1b1b or #2f2f2f) instead of black.<\/p><!-- wp: -->\n\n<!-- \/wp: --><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Less is More<\/h2><!-- wp: -->\n\n<!-- \/wp: --><p>Ensure your designs are <strong>easy to understand.<\/strong> This includes selecting images, fonts, and colors that make sense in the context and the message you want to convey. This is a movement that focuses on the idea that &#8220;less is more&#8221; and you only need the basics.<\/p><!-- wp: -->\n\n<!-- \/wp: --><p>Another use of white space is called negative space. Place the most important information in a <strong>large, bold font<\/strong> to show viewers what they should focus on the most.
