Y a d\u00eda de hoy <strong>a\u00fan es necesario usar los dos<\/strong>. \u00bfPor qu\u00e9? Pese a que en la actualidad pr\u00e1cticamente el 95% de gestores de correo son capaces de leer mensajes en HTML, el uso de texto plano <strong>trae consigo una serie de ventajas<\/strong>.&nbsp;Las detallamos en el post de hoy.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>\u00bfQu\u00e9 es el formato HTML en <a href=\"https:\/\/acumbamail.com\/email-marketing\/\">email marketing<\/a>?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Cuando surgi\u00f3 el correo electr\u00f3nico all\u00e1 por los a\u00f1os 60, <strong>los mensajes eran&nbsp;en texto plano<\/strong>, sin florituras: s\u00f3lo texto y nada m\u00e1s. A medida que la red fue evolucionando y se convirti\u00f3 en lo que conocemos como Internet en los 90, los gestores de correo empezaron a permitir el env\u00edo y lectura de <strong>contenidos en HTML<\/strong>. Pod\u00edan enviarse y leerse mensajes enriquecidos que combinaban <strong>im\u00e1genes, composiciones de tablas, archivos y tambi\u00e9n texto plano<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>\u00bfQu\u00e9 ventajas presentan los contenidos en HTML en email marketing? Principalmente una <strong>mayor creatividad a la hora de transmitir la informaci\u00f3n<\/strong>. Eso, a su vez,&nbsp;puede derivar en mejores resultados. Pero usar s\u00f3lo HTML en tus <em>newsletters<\/em> tambi\u00e9n implica <strong>una serie de inconvenientes<\/strong> como ver\u00e1s a continuaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>La forma m\u00e1s efectiva es combinar&nbsp;HTML y texto plano. Para ello, se usa el formato <strong>MIME Multipart-Alternative<\/strong>, que a\u00fana en un mismo archivo un email con contenidos en HTML y <strong>su versi\u00f3n en texto plano<\/strong>. Este formato permite mostrarle a cada usuario <strong>el tipo de mensaje soportado <\/strong>por su dispositivo, gestor de correo o sistema operativo. El objetivo es&nbsp;no desaprovechar oportunidades de comunicaci\u00f3n. Por supuesto, en Acumbamail podr\u00e1s usar este formato sin problema.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>As\u00ed pues, \u00bfHTML o texto plano?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Como dec\u00edamos m\u00e1s arriba, usar HTML es una buena idea en los tiempos que corren. Pero a\u00fan es mejor idea&nbsp;<strong>combinar el HTML con el texto plano<\/strong> por las siguientes razones.<\/p>\n<h2>Raz\u00f3n #1 \u2013 Fintar\u00e1s los filtros antispam<\/h2>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2067\" src=\"https:\/\/acumbamail.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/html_texto_1.png\" alt=\"html_texto_1\" width=\"560\" height=\"336\" srcset=\"https:\/\/acumbamail.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/html_texto_1.png 560w, https:\/\/acumbamail.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/html_texto_1-300x180.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 560px) 100vw, 560px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Es m\u00e1s probable que un filtro antispam env\u00ede al correo basura <strong>un <em>newsletter<\/em> hecho s\u00f3lo con HTML <\/strong>que a uno que combine HTML con texto plano. \u00bfPor qu\u00e9? Porque los filtros antispam consideran que si el email no lleva texto plano, <strong>se est\u00e1 ocultando alg\u00fan tipo de informaci\u00f3n<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Ante esto, \u00bfqu\u00e9 puedes hacer? Combinar siempre HTML con texto plano. Aseg\u00farate, eso s\u00ed,&nbsp;de que el texto plano que introduces <strong>se corresponde con el contenido realizado en HTML<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2>Raz\u00f3n #2 \u2013 Los dispositivos m\u00f3viles los leen mejor<\/h2>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2068\" src=\"https:\/\/acumbamail.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/html_texto_2.png\" alt=\"html_texto_2\" width=\"560\" height=\"306\" srcset=\"https:\/\/acumbamail.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/html_texto_2.png 560w, https:\/\/acumbamail.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/html_texto_2-300x164.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 560px) 100vw, 560px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.elmundo.es\/tecnologia\/2015\/01\/22\/54c0965c22601d656b8b456c.html\">Espa\u00f1a es l\u00edder europeo en penetraci\u00f3n de smartphones<\/a>, con un <strong>81% de tel\u00e9fonos inteligentes <\/strong>sobre el total de m\u00f3viles vendidos. En 2014, el crecimiento en la venta de <em>tablets<\/em> fue del 68%. Y no s\u00f3lo eso: en 2015, <strong>casi el 30% de las compras online <\/strong>en Espa\u00f1a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.criteo.com\/media\/1894\/criteo-state-of-mobile-commerce-q1-2015-ppt.pdf\">se produjeron a trav\u00e9s de un dispositivo m\u00f3vil<\/a>. As\u00ed pues, queda claro que <strong>hay que pon\u00e9rselo f\u00e1cil a los dispositivos m\u00f3viles<\/strong> a la hora de descifrar nuestros mensajes comerciales.<\/p>\n<p>Las previsualizaciones de correos en dispositivos m\u00f3viles a menudo utilizan texto plano. Si tus <em>newsletters<\/em> usan exclusivamente contenido en HTML, <strong>esa previsualizaci\u00f3n se mostrar\u00e1 en blanco<\/strong>. El resultado: posiblemente el usuario no abra el correo si no puede tener una idea previa del contenido que hay en \u00e9l. Y&nbsp;<strong>t\u00fa perder\u00e1s en apertura, <em>click-through<\/em> y conversiones<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Pero no s\u00f3lo eso: puede haber <strong>usuarios con discapacidades visuales<\/strong> que tengan dificultades para leer o interpretar los mensajes en HTML, por lo que la versi\u00f3n en texto plano del email resulta imprescindible. Incluso puede suceder que algunos usuarios dispongan de <strong>un lector de voz de sus correos<\/strong>; en tal caso, para esos lectores de voz un email s\u00f3lo en HTML ser\u00e1 imposible de descifrar.<\/p>\n<h2>Raz\u00f3n #3 \u2013 Gestores de correo para dar y vender<\/h2>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2069\" src=\"https:\/\/acumbamail.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/html_texto_3.png\" alt=\"html_texto_3\" width=\"560\" height=\"371\" srcset=\"https:\/\/acumbamail.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/html_texto_3.png 560w, https:\/\/acumbamail.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/html_texto_3-300x199.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 560px) 100vw, 560px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Los gestores de correo o <em>email managers<\/em> son otra de las razones por las que no conviene escoger entre HTML o texto plano, sino combinarlos.<\/p>\n<p>Pese a que, como dec\u00edamos m\u00e1s arriba, el 95% de los gestores de correo son capaces de mostrar mensajes en HTML, todav\u00eda <strong>hay un 5% de usuarios que no podr\u00e1n visualizar esos mensajes<\/strong>. En algunos casos se debe a que los usuarios utilizan <strong>dispositivos algo anticuados<\/strong> y en otros se debe a que utilizan determinados <strong>gestores de correo<\/strong> o determinados <strong>sistemas operativos<\/strong> que suponen un problema a la hora de leer este tipo de mensajes.<\/p>\n<p>Por otro lado, pese a que casi todo el mundo tiene un gestor de correos que lee HTML, hay algunos usuarios que <strong>lo tienen configurado para descargarse s\u00f3lo texto plano<\/strong>. Esto les permite agilizar la recepci\u00f3n de correos y ahorrar espacio de almacenaje, pero puede suponer que no abran tu correo si \u00e9ste s\u00f3lo incluye contenido en HTML.<\/p>\n<p>As\u00ed pues, nuestro consejo es que no escojas entre HTML o texto plano: utiliza el HTML todo lo que quieras, pero aseg\u00farate de<strong> incluir siempre una versi\u00f3n en texto plano del email<\/strong>.
