La versi\u00f3n AMP de un email o una p\u00e1gina aligera sensiblemente sus tiempos de carga. Vamos a ver <strong>qu\u00e9 es AMP<\/strong> y c\u00f3mo lo puedes aplicar en tu estrategia de email marketing.<\/p>\n\n<h2>\u00bfQu\u00e9 es AMP? Definici\u00f3n<\/h2>\n<p>Cuando un usuario se encuentra con un email o una p\u00e1gina poco legible o que tarda mucho en cargar (y aqu\u00ed &#8220;mucho&#8221; es <strong>unos 3 segundos<\/strong> seg\u00fan manifiestan 4 de cada 10 internautas, mucho cuidado con esto), es muy probable que abandone la consulta o la navegaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Adem\u00e1s, como bien sabes, uno de los puntos que mayor influencia positiva tiene en el posicionamiento org\u00e1nico de un sitio web es que este disponga de un <strong>dise\u00f1o responsive<\/strong>, es decir, que su carga sea casi instant\u00e1nea y que no tenga defectos de visualizaci\u00f3n, independientemente de la plataforma o de la aplicaci\u00f3n con que se abra.<\/p>\n<p>En 2015, en respuesta a este reto, surgi\u00f3 el <a href=\"https:\/\/acumbamail.com\/glosario\/amp\/\"><strong>proyecto de c\u00f3digo abierto AMP<\/strong><\/a> (siglas de Accelerated Mobile Pages), impulsado conjuntamente por Google y otros colaboradores, y cuyo objetivo es optimizar la<strong> velocidad de carga <\/strong>de contenidos web en smartphones, el veh\u00edculo de acceso a Internet favorito por la mayor\u00eda de los usuarios en la actualidad.<\/p>\n<p>Por lo tanto, una p\u00e1gina web o un email en formato AMP constar\u00e1 de un contenido HTML especialmente <strong>optimizado para dispositivos m\u00f3viles,<\/strong> pero con un conjunto m\u00e1s reducido de etiquetas. Por ejemplo, se restringe el uso de recursos JavaScript o la inclusi\u00f3n de fotos y v\u00eddeos, al ser considerados los principales &#8220;culpables&#8221; de ralentizar la carga del contenido.<\/p>\n<p>Ahora bien, todo esto se aplica a la web y al SEO pero <strong>\u00bfc\u00f3mo se aplica al <a href=\"https:\/\/acumbamail.com\/email-marketing\/\">email marketing<\/a>?<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>C\u00f3mo se aplica el AMP a los emails<\/h2>\n<p>A la luz de los mencionados h\u00e1bitos de navegaci\u00f3n, resulta casi ineludible desarrollar versiones AMP de correos electr\u00f3nicos. Adem\u00e1s, m\u00e1s que una obligaci\u00f3n, es una oportunidad de oro para conseguir que <strong>tus contenidos generen una gran experiencia de usuario<\/strong> en tu p\u00fablico objetivo.<\/p>\n<p>Esto va a requerir cierto cambio de paradigma, y empezar a ver los emails como <strong>objetos din\u00e1micos<\/strong>, y no como los tradicionales elementos est\u00e1ticos, de modo que las interacciones (CTA, call to action) queden circunscritas al \u00e1mbito del email.<\/p>\n<h2>Ventajas del uso de AMP en campa\u00f1as de email<\/h2>\n<p>\u00bfQu\u00e9 significa esto, y c\u00f3mo se puede aplicar?<\/p>\n<p>Pues la idea pasa por crear <strong>emails interactivos<\/strong> que se actualicen en tiempo real. Imagina que tus clientes puedan responder a eventos, consultar publicaciones de tus perfiles sociales, completar cuestionarios o acceder a una previsualizaci\u00f3n de tu e-commerce <strong>sin salir del email<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>De este modo, conseguir\u00e1s <strong>aumentar el tiempo de lectura<\/strong> del email por parte de tu audiencia. Fuente: Really Good Emails<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Si quieres ver qu\u00e9 apariencia visual tienen y c\u00f3mo lo utilizan las marcas, consulta nuestro post espec\u00edfico sobre <a href=\"https:\/\/acumbamail.com\/blog\/email-interactivo\/\">emails interactivos<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>Inconvenientes de usar AMP en email marketing<\/h2>\n<p>Con todo, <strong>el proyecto AMP no est\u00e1 exento de pol\u00e9mica<\/strong>, sobre todo desde el verano de 2021, cuando Jeremy Keith, desarrollador web a favor de la estandarizaci\u00f3n web, dimiti\u00f3 de su puesto dentro del comit\u00e9 asesor que llevaba el proyecto de AMP, seg\u00fan nos cuenta <a href=\"https:\/\/essenceofemail.com\/weekly-news\/august-27\/\">Essence of Email,<\/a> agencia de email marketing referente.<\/p>\n<p>En su <a href=\"https:\/\/adactio.com\/journal\/18350\">email de dimisi\u00f3n<\/a> alega que el proyecto no deja de ser un producto de Google m\u00e1s, fuera de la idea inicial de c\u00f3digo abierto.<\/p>\n<p>\u00bfQu\u00e9 implicaciones tiene esto?<\/p>\n<p>En los \u00faltimos meses se ha llegado a pensar que <strong>AMP no deja de ser un proyecto en los m\u00e1rgenes de Google<\/strong>, que si no interesa podr\u00eda desaparecer sin m\u00e1s explicaciones.
